Time to GROW

I have shared previously that in recent years I’ve shifted away from traditional new year’s resolutions to embracing a ‘word of the year’ which has become my compass for setting meaningful goals.

Last year, my word, STRONG took me by surprise how it became quite powerful (no pun intended!) as a motivator to keep focused on my goals and what I wanted to achieve, especially during challenging moments.

I was therefore keen to embrace a word of the year again in 2025, and this year’s word has come to me quite easily as I can see it as a way of further building on the momentum of 2024.

I am pleased to share that my word of 2025 is GROW.

After finishing my year of STRONG, it was clear to me that I’m ready this year to GROW, expand, and develop. The goals I am setting for myself all align to this, both personal and business related.

I’ve got plans for this year to learn and acquire new skills (both work and non-work related), expand how I can further utilise my experience, knowledge and skills to support people and organisations in my work; and embrace growth in my everyday life by being reflective and mindful of what I can learn from situations.

I’m excited to have GROW as my focus this year and have already started to make small (but incremental) progress on some goals.

Whether it is a focal word, resolutions, or perhaps you have your own process to unlock the full potential of your year – whatever it may be, I hope you are setting yourself up for a successful and enjoyable one.
