Being Eight

This photo was taken the other day - just a few days after I celebrated eight years in business. What an eight years it’s been. Many interesting work opportunities. Even more great conversations and wonderful people I have met along the way.

Eight years feels like a long time, but realistically a lot has happened during that time.

The business has evolved into an offering that I really love and thrive in - supporting HR teams to be strong partners to their businesses where they understand and demonstrate the interconnectedness of HR with overall business strategy and challenges; ensuring HR strategies and activities are aligned with an organisation’s overall goals. It’s all about making HR relevant, strategic, and customer focused - demonstrating their value to organisations.

This is the space where my business acumen and governance expertise adds depth and relevance to the HR function and activities. This has long been my superpower, and I’ve realised over time this is how I’ve been adding value to my clients - it’s not just HR consulting, this is my “secret ingredient” to really support them in their organisations. 

I love seeing HR teams being great partners in their organisations, doing good work, and thriving. 

I am grateful to work with some pretty awesome people who are eager to make positive changes and to have enhanced outcomes for organisations and their teams.
